World Stroke Day

As we observe World Stroke Day, we are reminded of the critical importance of stroke awareness and prevention. We’re proud to announce that Jennifer Cona and Melissa Negrin-Wiener, Co-Chairs of the 2025 Go Red for Women Long Island Campaign, are partnering with the American Heart Association to spread awareness about stroke risks, prevention, and early recognition.

In honor of this important day, Jennifer and Melissa have shared a special video to help us all recognize the signs of a stroke and learn potentially life-saving tips. Together, we can build a healthier future for our communities and take action to prevent strokes.
