Prior to his current role, Joe served as Chief Marketing Officer at a prestigious, multi-practice law firm in midtown Manhattan. There, he collaborated closely with firm leadership to develop new vertical markets, launch practice areas, and foster strategic alliances. His innovative approach to digital marketing and business development resulted in a significant increase in revenue, a streamlined client onboarding process, and enhanced market positioning.
Some of Joe’s prior roles include VP of Marketing at a global risk broker and Chief Marketing Officer at a well-known, regional benefits consulting firm, where he built and directed the firm's marketing department. Under his leadership, the firm grew significantly, expanded its footprint, and ultimately secured a lucrative acquisition. His work in brand repositioning and post-acquisition integration further solidified his reputation as a transformational leader.
Earlier in his career, Joe served as VP/Brand Strategy & Business Development at two regional ad agencies. There, he consulted with some of the largest brands in the world and was instrumental in leading brand strategy, business development, and operational restructuring, which led to increased revenue and successful acquisitions at both firms. As an adjunct professor at CW Post, he created the university’s first course on Strategic Branding, which he taught for six years.
