Dylan Stevens is an Associate Attorney at Cona Elder Law. Dylan practices in both the Estate Planning and Government Benefits Eligibility departments at the firm, handling complex estate plans for high net worth clients, estate tax planning, the preparation of irrevocable life insurance trusts (ILITs), spousal limited access trusts (SLATs) and other vehicles for estate tax minimization, as well as Wills, Trusts, and Advance Directives. Dylan also handles probate and estate and trust administration and assists the estate litigation department. On behalf of the Government Benefits Eligibility Department, Dylan advises clients regarding asset protection planning, prepares asset protection trusts, handles complex Medicaid applications, and advocates for clients at Fair Hearings. Dylan also represents clients in Article 81 Guardianships in the Supreme Court as well as 17-A Guardianships in the Surrogate’s Court.
He has been recognized by Best Lawyers® as “Ones to Watch” in 2024. Dylan received his law degree cum laude from Boston College Law School, where he served as a member of the Public Interest Law Foundation and the Business and Law Society. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in History from Princeton University where he also graduated cum laude and received the C.O. Joline Prize for the best senior thesis in American History.
Dylan is admitted to practice law in New York and Connecticut and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
Dylan resides in Port Jefferson and he enjoys golfing, hiking, and playing tennis.
