Stephen Shimshi

Stephen Shimshi is an Associate Attorney at Cona Elder Law. Stephen started his career at Cona Elder Law as a law clerk and was admitted to practice in New York.  Stephen concentrates his practice in the Health Care Reimbursement and Recovery department where he manages guardianship proceedings and litigation. Stephen also handles estate administration, probate, Creditor Petitions and estate litigation.

Stephen Shimshi earned his Juris Doctorate from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University where he served as a Notes and Comments Editor on Family Court Review, Volume 61. Stephen was also a recipient of the Linda Carmody-Roberts Endowed Scholarship in Trusts & Estates/Elder Law. Prior to law school, Stephen obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the State University of New York College at Geneseo.

During his free time, Stephen most enjoys spending time with his loved ones, going to the beach and has a passion for baseball.
