The accomplishments and achievements attained by Ms. Melissa Negrin-Wiener in the field of Legal Services warrants inclusion into the Top Attorneys of North America. Melissa Negrin-Wiener manages the Government Benefits Department while concentrating her practice in the areas of Medicaid eligibility planning, asset protection planning, disability matters, guardianships, estate planning and Veteran benefits. She also supervises the preparation of Medicaid Applications for nursing home care, home health care and community benefits. Melissa is a State Certified Court Evaluator and an Advanced Elder Law Mediator trained by the New York Peace Institute. She has authored numerous articles for The Suffolk Lawyer, the Nassau Lawyer, the New York Law Journal and the HIA Hauppauge Reporter, as well as receiving the “40 Under 40 Rising Stars on Long Island” award from Long Island Business News. Ms. Negrin received her B.A. from Binghamton University and her J.D. from Hofstra University. She is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association’s Elder Law Committee, the New York State Bar Association, Nassau County Bar Association, Advanced Elder Law Focus Group, and President of the Suffolk County Women’s Bar Association.
