Cona Elder Law Expands Special Needs Practice Area; Patricia A. Craig Esq. Joins Melville Firm

Melville, NY, June 28, 2022 – Cona Elder Law, the Melville based firm concentrating on elder law, estate planning, estate administration, and health care law, announced an expansion of its Special Needs Practice Group with the addition of Patricia A. Craig as an Associate Attorney.

Ms. Craig’s practice will focus on special needs planning, guardianships and estate planning. Specifically, Ms. Craig helps families who have children with special needs access government benefits and guides them through their estate planning, Special Needs Trusts, and other key legal decisions.

A lifelong Long Islander and resident of Westbury, Ms. Craig was most recently Of Counsel to Raiser & Kenniff, P.C. in Mineola.  She graduated from Hofstra University before earning a J.D. from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2013.  Admitted to the Bar in New York state, she has served as Co-Vice Chair of Nassau County Bar Association’s Elder Law & Special Needs Committee.  In 2018, she was honored among the Outstanding Women in Law, Emerging Leaders by Hofstra University, Maurice A. Deane School of Law, and was recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star for the period of 2020-21.
