Cona Elder Law Marketing Manager and Shannon Quinn named to Long Island Business News‘ 30 Under 30 list.
The Long Island Business News 30 Under 30 Awards honor the bright and dynamic young professionals who are under the age of 30, who contribute to the Long Island community through public service and who have made significant strides in business. The 2022 list honors Marketing Manager Shannon Quinn.
Shannon Quinn is a Marketing professional with over 8 years of hands-on experience, primarily working with law firms. As the Marketing Manager at Cona Elder Law since 2019, Shannon coordinates all aspects of branding, marketing, and community outreach initiatives supporting new business development strategies, while always seeking to challenge her existing skills and expand her knowledge base.
Quinn manages all aspects of “B2C” and “B2B” practice development, creates the firm’s marketing budget, manages the website, oversees vendor and creative consultant relationships, and communicates with senior management to align all initiatives with the firm’s core values. This involves identifying opportunities and developing marketing strategies and content, implementing regular client communications, and consistently optimizing the online user experience. Shannon plans all of the firm’s events, from team events to build engagement and employee satisfaction, client events to build strong client-attorney relationships, to networking events to engage synergistic opportunities. She also leads the community outreach initiatives and volunteer programs for the firm, organizing initiatives with local and national non-profits and industry leaders as well as the firm’s own charity Senior Dreams Come TrueSM.
Outside of the firm, Quinn is an Ambassador for the New York Chapter of It’s4TheKids, a 503(c) that strives to provide a better quality of life to all children through hands-on assistance. She also sits on the advisory council of Nassau Suffolk Law Services as the Secretary. Quinn graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a B.S in Marketing and Management. She enjoys exploring the outdoors, playing tennis, and making people laugh.
An advocate of learning and hard work, Quinn believes in surrounding herself with ‘go-getters,’ and finds her colleagues inspiring for this reason.
She explains, ” From a very young age, my parents taught me the value of having a work ethic. Beginning at age eight, I worked with my family on our boat selling ice cream – and this was only a weekend gig. As soon as I had my working papers, I had multiple jobs at a time. And I never stopped. Each job I’ve had, from ice-cream scooper, to waitress, to wedding photographer, has all been valued. No matter the job, I gave my very best. These experiences helped me get to where I am today by expanding my responsibilities, owning my work and gaining exposure in the industry and through my friends and colleagues as a future leader.”
