Jennifer B. Cona, Melissa Negrin-Wiener, and Cheryl L. Katz-Erato Cited by Super Lawyers

Melville, NY – Jennifer Cona, founder and managing partner of Cona Elder Law, announced today that three attorneys of the firm will be included on the upcoming Super Lawyers list.

Both Ms. Cona, of Cold Spring Harbor, and Melissa Negrin-Wiener of Setauket, have been selected to the 2021 New York Super Lawyers list. Each year, no more than five percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor. Super Lawyers, part of Thomson Reuters, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area. The result is a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of exceptional attorneys. The full New York list will be revealed in The New York Times on October 17.

In addition to Ms. Cona, who was recognized for the eighth consecutive year, and Ms. Negrin Wiener, Massapequa’s Cheryl L. Katz-Erato has been selected to the New York Rising Stars list, an annual honor reserved for less than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state.
