Cona Elder Law Expands to New, State-of-the-Art Headquarters

Shares

Cona Elder Law, a leading elder law and estate planning firm on Long Island, has announced the opening of its new headquarters at 225 Broadhollow Road, Suite 200 in Melville.  The firm has doubled its space and added many amenities for clients and staff.

As a public service in its new suite of offices, Cona Elder Law is opening Long Island’s first resource center for seniors, families and caregivers known as the Susan C. Snowe Caregiver Resource Center.  In a confidential setting, community members will have access to information, materials and resources on assisted living facilities, home care agencies, nursing homes, senior housing, long term care insurance, reverse mortgages, and more.  On designated days and times, the public can speak with a Cona Elder Law attorney at no charge.

“In addition to offering elder law services, we provide assistance and guidance with health care choices, care and living options and often refer our clients to supportive services and colleagues in our industry,” explains Jennifer B. Cona, Esq., managing partner, Cona Elder Law.  “The Susan C. Snowe Caregiver Resource Center provides such information and gives our clients a place to begin their research – all under one roof.  The Center is dedicated in memory of Susan C. Snowe, a compassionate social worker whose career spanned 40 years of helping the disabled and the elderly.”

In addition, the three conference rooms feature the first permanent exhibit of veteran press photographer Phil Stanziola’s original works of historical figures such as John F. Kennedy, Marilyn Monroe, Martin Luther King Jr., Frank Sinatra, Richard Nixon and others. Stanziola is a retired photographer who worked at the World Telegram and The Daily News over the course of his 50 year career.  Many of Stanziola’s photographic works are held at the Library of Congress.

To inaugurate the resource center and photo gallery, there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house for Cona Elder Law’s clients and the public on Thursday, June 14th from 11:30 AM –
2 PM at Cona Elder Law’s offices.
