For the past three years, the VA accredited attorneys at Cona Elder Law have offered their services on a pro bono basis to help nearly 200 veterans and their spouses/widows over age 65 to access this important benefit. "The key to obtaining these benefits lies in accurately completing the complex and lengthy application, which requires a thorough knowledge of the financial and service criteria," says Melissa Negrin-Wiener, Esq.
Those who attend the November 13th event will have the opportunity to view the Susan C. Snowe Caregiver Resource Center offering a range of elder care and caregiver information and resources from various organizations, such as assisted living communities, home health care organizations, financial services, insurance and more.
