For the second consecutive year, Cona Elder Law, a leading elder law and estate planning firm based in Melville, was honored by HIA as a finalist of the Business Achievement Award, small business category.
The HIA Board recognized Cona Elder Law for their industry leadership and growth, positive employer/employee relations, revenue and profitably and company vision. Based on a submission detailing the firm’s recent outstanding accomplishments, community involvement, expansion into new markets, vision for the firm’s future and a personal interview with the firm and its key employees, Cona Elder Law was selected from a large list of Long Island businesses.
Named a leading elder law firm on LI for several years, Cona Elder Law now has 35 employees and has seen a growth rate of 30% in the past three years. With continued expansion into new markets, Jennifer Cona. Esq., managing partner, and Melissa Negrin-Wiener, Esq., partner, Cona Elder Law launched a program to help companies who have employees caring for aging parents and loved ones as well as a mediation practice group.
Known for its charitable and community activities, Cona Elder Law continues to grant wishes to low income seniors on LI through its nonprofit program Senior Dreams Come True. Recently, they donated airline tickets to a woman so she could meet her new grandchild for the first time.

Their latest complimentary seminar series is called “Protecting Your Family and Your Assets Across the Generations.” The first program is on October 28th geared to baby boomers.
