International Women’s Day

On this International Women’s Day, we want to take a moment to join the global celebration of the social, cultural, economic, and political achievements of all women.

At Cona Elder Law, we are a woman-led law firm that has always promoted equality and that supports women at all stages of their careers, through mentoring in the early years, promoting women through maternity, and providing flexible, custom return to work plans so women do not need to choose between having a great career and being present for their children.

We also provide custom scaled back work schedules for our staff members who are approaching retirement so that our valued team members, many of whom are women, don’t need to retire outright before they are ready but also don’t need to work more than they want to.

As Ruth Bader Ginsberg said: “Women belong in all places where decisions are being made.”

Here’s to strong women: may we know them, may we be them, may we raise them. ONWARD!
