Jennifer Cona, Esq. Honored at Long Island Power Women in Business
Jennifer Cona, managing partner of Cona Elder Law, a leading elder law firm in Melville, was honored on December 1, 2016 as a winner of The Star Network Long Island Power Women in Business Award. Recognized as an exceptional businesswoman and philanthropist, Jennifer was honored along with several other influential women from Long Island.
According to Amy Amato, President of Events for Schepps Communications who hosted the event, Ms. Cona was honored for her outstanding leadership and contributions to the community. The award recognized Ms. Cona’s dedication to her employees and to the Long Island community.
As managing partner of Cona Elder Law, Ms. Cona practices exclusively in the field of Elder Law including Medicaid planning, preservation of assets, estate planning, estate litigation, probate and administration of estates, guardianships, and special needs planning. As part of her commitment to the community, Cona Elder Law provides pro bono services to veterans and helps low-income seniors through its non-profit, Senior Dreams Come True.

She has received Long Island Business News’ Leadership In Law Award and has twice been named a Top 50 Most Influential Woman in Business.
Ms. Cona serves on the Board of Trustees of the Long Island Alzheimer’s Foundation (LIAF), and was recently nominated to the Board of Directors of United Way Long Island Chapter.
