Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic, disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system, including the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves.  It is a disease of the immune system that affects more than 7,000 people in the New York community alone.

WALK MS began in 1988 to raise funds for research, education and advocacy.  Since its inception, WALK MS participants have raised more than $10 Million.  The money raised allows the National MS Society to address the challenges of people affected by MS.

This year, Cona Elder Law is sponsoring a team: Cona Elder Law’s The Lovers and the Fighters.  The walk will take place on April 28, 2013 beginning at 9:30 AM at South Street Seaport in New York City.  The 6 mile walk begins in downtown Manhattan and passes over the beautiful and historic Brooklyn Bridge.
