PORT WASHINGTON, NY – The Long Island Alzheimer’s Foundation (LIAF) was the beneficiary of an evening with the Long Island Ducks. On Monday, July 30, 2007 the Ducks held a “Spaghetti Western Theme Night” with an all you can eat pre-game picnic and barbecue, prizes for the best kids in cowgirl and cowboy costumes after which The Ducks played The Revolution from Pennsylvania. The event was sponsored by Cona Elder Law PLLC and James Verdi – Financial Advisor of Merrill Lynch with proceeds to benefit the Long Island Alzheimer’s Foundation (LIAF) to support the numerous programs and services LIAF provides to those suffering with Alzheimer’s and to their caregivers, as well as helps to raise public awareness and to promote education on the symptoms and care for those suffering with Alzheimer’s disease.
